When a family's spacecraft crashes on the forest moon of planet Endor, teenage son Mace (Eric Walker) and his little sister, Cindel (Aubree Miller), find themselves separated from their parents. Soon these lost children encounter the Ewoks, the small and furry warriors who call the moon home. With the help of these adorable yet fearless natives, brother and sister set out on a quest to rescue their parents from the grip of a vicious monster known as the Gorax.
This film came out in 1984 a year after Return of the Jedi and Star Wars franchise was bigger than ever, and fans couldn't get enough. To give the fans their fix Lucas made a deal with ABC to make a few TV movies or at least write the stories.
What we got was "The Ewok Adventures" which consisted of to made for TV movies "Caravan Of Courage" and 1985's "The Battle For Endor." They both featured RTTJ's Ewoks and were set on the moon of Endor but that's about the only thing that these movies had in common with the original trilogy.vOpinions vary on the subject and some look at these movies as a nostalgic trip down memory lane and some can't stand them and see them as cash grabs.
